By creating an account or using LecturAI ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
LecturAI is an AI-powered lecture summarization platform that allows users to upload audio or video files and receive automated transcriptions, summaries, chapter breakdowns, key terms, and quiz questions generated by artificial intelligence.
You may use some features without an account. An account is required to access higher usage limits, history, and premium features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 13 years old to use LecturAI. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
You agree not to:
You retain full ownership of any files you upload. By uploading content, you grant LecturAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze the content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Transcripts, summaries, and other AI-generated outputs belong to you. LecturAI claims no ownership over the outputs generated from your uploaded content.
Uploaded files are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours of processing. We do not retain your raw media files beyond this period.
LecturAI offers a free tier and paid Pro subscription plans.
LecturAI, its logo, design, and all underlying technology are the intellectual property of LecturAI. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our brand or technology beyond the right to use the Service as described here.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." AI-generated transcriptions, summaries, and quiz questions may contain errors. LecturAI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content for any particular purpose — including academic submission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LecturAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or academic consequences from relying on AI-generated content.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which LecturAI operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at support@lectur.ai or through our support page.
